Spree is the gritty, intense story of
Jackie (Libby Simeon), a woman desperate to start a new life
for herself and her two young children. She flees her abusive
drug dealing husband, Frank (Brian O’Hare) only to end
up living on the streets. Broke and bottomed out, she abandons
her kids and embarks on a 24-hour crime spree in a doomed
attempt to steal enough money to save herself and her children.
She is arrested and sent to prison where she learns that Frank
has regained custody of the children. Fueled by her love for
them and driven by a desire for revenge, she tracks Frank
down. In a climatic showdown on the streets of a small town,
Jackie takes a last, frenzied stand at getting her children
back.
