Synopsis:
In the hilarious and edgy atmosphere
of an all female residence, SAM (Chad Donella Final Destination),
the universal underdog, is looking for a girl who has lost
her smile.
One winter day, after being kicked out of his drawing class,
Sam is walking on the sidewalk when the wind blows his drawings
of naked women all over the street. Sam tries to grab his
drawings and hears a woman’s voice say, “I think
you lost your smile.” This is the stunning HOPE (Erinn
Bartlett Little Nicky, The In Crowd), who hands him one of
his drawings, a sketch of a smile. Hope makes him laugh and
Sam falls for her incredible smile. They have coffee together
at a local diner and share lots of laughs.
Next time they meet, Sam, who has become a lowly delivery
guy for a convenient store after wasting four years of college,
is making a delivery to the Susan B. Anthony all women residence.
There, he discovers he is delivering to Hope, who has changed
in the past few months. She has lost her smile. She is so
depressed and won’t tell Sam why. Sam makes it his goal
to uncover her mystery depression.
Now he is on a mission to bring Hope her smile again. Sam
encounters every type of woman imaginable: his ex-girlfriend
Gretchen (a beautiful German girl that breaks up with him),
the career woman, the party girl, the Catholic girl, the rich
girl and the method actress. Coming to his assistance is sweet
ANNIE (Jennifer Morrison Urban Legends: Final Cut, Stir Of
Echoes), who is fighting her own battle with chocoholism.
Sam’s male antagonist is MR. WILLENS (Clint Howard The
Grinch, Apollo 13, The Waterboy), the epitome of everything
bad about the male sex. As the manager of the residence, Mr.
Willens tries to ban Sam from entering his harem. So, Sam
must be sneakier and more resourceful in order to solve his
mystery. Sam doesn’t get much help from HOLDEN (Steve
Monroe Miss Congeniality, Going Greek), his buddy and the
manager of the convenient store, who has given up on love
unless you count the autoerotic encounters he has with various
pieces of merchandise he stocks in his store.
This frantic, funny, sexy tale explodes at its climax when
the mystery is solved, bringing this movie to a happy ending
with a huge smile. |
