Synopsis:
Bene (Molly Ringwald, “The Stand”,
“The Breakfast Club”, “Pretty in Pink”)
and Alex (Donal Logue, “Grounded for Life”, “Sneakers”)
are a couple on the run. After a drug deal turns deadly, the
pair head off to Baja, Mexico, where they hide out in a trailer
on the Sea of Cortez, awaiting forged passports which will
allow their passage to Venezuela.
Enter John Stone (Corbin Bernsen, “L.A. Law”,
“Major League I&II”), Bebe’s shady father
who asks Michael Hart (Michael Nickles, “Desert Winds”,
“Wayne’s World II”), her estranged husband,
to track them down and return Bebe. Michael is at first reticent
to take the job, but his strong feelings for Bebe lead him
to accept.
Once he’s reached the desolate Mexican border town,
Michael finds it a simple matter to locate Bebe and Alex.
So, however, does Tom Burns (Lance Henrickson, “The
Quick and the Dead”, “Aliens”), a hit man
with marital problems and literary pretensions.
As Burns prepares to kill Alex, Michael finds himself with
less than twenty-four hours to convince Bebe to return home.
The stakes are raised when the paranoid Alex suspects that
Alex is the hit man. What follows is a violent.
